ProQuest K-12 contains the following products:

eLibrary Curriculum meets a wide range of research and curricular demands with more than 2,000 full-text and multimedia sources. Use this collection to access newspapers (including The New York Times and The Los Angles Times), magazines, and more.

The History Study Center offers historical reference material that covers 14 centuries of history from ancient to modern, old world to new world.

ProQuest Historical Newspapers offers full page and article images (digital reproductions) with searchable full text from The New York Daily Times (1851-1857) and The New York Times (1857-1999). Every newspaper issue is reproduced, cover-to-cover, in full-page digital images, from news stories and editorials to graphics and advertisements. IMPORTANT NOTES:  These are PDF files (Adobe Acrobat required) of historical newspapers, and therefore can be difficult to read both on screen or in print. When you open an article, clicking on "page map" will provide a thumbnail of the page on which the article starts. This offers additional  important information such as headlines, placement of article, artwork, other articles, advertisements on the page, etc. Clicking on the "page map" image on any other article opens the article. If you want to search The New York Times after 1999, use the ProQuest K-12 eLibrary database.
